Here we describe the privacy practices for the NMC App. You will learn about the data we collect, how we use it, the controls we give you over your information, and the measures we take to keep it safe. Respect for human dignity extends not only to the person but also to his/her personal information. We believe that an individual’s personal health data, is just that – personal.

1. Introduction

1.1. Nordic Medical Centre (“We”, “us”) are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This policy sets out to ensure that any Personal Information that you provide us, will only be processed by us.
1.2. Please read the following carefully in order to fully understand how we collect, treat, and safeguard your data.
1.3. When defining “Personal Information” in this policy, we include all information that relates to a living individual.
1.4. Please be aware that in order to have access to the NMC App and become a User, you must be a verified NMC member, at which point you will be personally given an access code to the App. This ensures that all Users have agreed to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, and that our services are not misused.
1.5. As well as the App permissions set in place before manually submitting any information, the NMC App also requires you to Accept the Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy.
1.6. Location Services: The NMC App allows the User to manually push their location to our servers. When a User opts to submit this information, they will always be asked whether they want to submit said information before it is processed; it will be clear when they are providing these details. Please note, that under no circumstance can we see your current location without having you manually submit it to us.
1.7. Please be aware that privacy and Personal Information laws vary between countries. Though the NMC App is to be exclusively used in Ethiopia, we take pride in aiming to treat your Personal Information to international privacy standards.

2. Information automatically collected by service

2.1. As a User of our services (including but not limited to the NMC App and Website), some non-personal information is automatically collected. Only information required to support and improve our services may be automatically collected, including but not limited to device hardware, device software, unique device identifier (UDID), all of which do not allow the service producers to identify the personal details of the Users.
2.2. No Personal Information about you (such as your name, password, address, email, phone number) is automatically collected.

3. Use of Information automatically collected by service

4.3. In order to ensure the integrity of your personal and sensitive information collected manually, the app contains an interface, which enables you to edit your User information.
4.4. As all Personal Information is manually collected (entered by the User) it will be clear when you are providing these details. When a User opts to submit Personal Information, they will always be asked whether they want to submit said information before it is processed.
